Our mission is to provide childcare that meets the needs of children in a safe, educational environment. We pride ourselves on watching children grow; spiritually, mentally, and emotionally while maintaining faith-based, hands on learning.

 Proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not turn from it. 


We value Christian-based learning for spiritual, mental, and emotional growth; care for the child, family, and community; and serving others

Teachers Aide

Primary Shift: 7:30AM-2:30PM * M-F

Responsibilities:

· Facilitate lead teacher by assisting with daily classroom operations at teacher’s discretion

· Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment

· Assist in advancing children’s spiritual, physical, and intellectual development through engaging activities

· Support each child’s spiritual, social, and emotional development while providing positive guidance

· Communicate with Lead teacher

· Maintain a tidy and organized classroom

· Willing to advance through professional development

· Encourage an attitude of Christ likeness in all aspects of the classroom: lessons; relationships (student, parent, and staff); classroom management, and discipline.

· Always represent the mission and values of MLHA

· Create a fun and caring environment for children, families, and staff

· Report directly to the Lead Teacher/Director

Required Skills/Attributes

· Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Classroom experience(preferred)

· Christ Follower

· Love for children

· * In times of exception, candidates may be required to work outside of their primary shift

Education and Experience:

· CDA, Associates or Bachelor’s degree (preferred). Formal classroom experience will be considered

· CPR and First Aid Certification(Provided by MLHA)

After School Teacher

Primary Shift: 2:30PM-6:00PM * M-F

Responsibilities:

· Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment

· Assist in advancing children’s spiritual, physical, and intellectual development through engaging activities

· Support each child’s spiritual, social, and emotional development while providing positive guidance

· Communicate with other teachers and staff

· Maintain a tidy and organized area

· Willing to advance through professional development

· Encourage an attitude of Christ likeness in all aspects of the classroom: lessons; relationships (student, parent, and staff); classroom management, and discipline.

· Always represent the mission and values of MLHA

· Create a fun and caring environment for children, families, and staff

· Report directly to the Director

Responsibilities:

· Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment

· Assist assigned teacher in facilitating daily activities while advancing children’s spiritual, physical, and intellectual development.

· Support each child’s spiritual, social, and emotional development while providing positive guidance

· Communicate with assigned teacher/director on all classroom issues

· Maintain a tidy and organized classroom

· Willing to advance through professional development

· Encourage an attitude of Christ likeness in all aspects of the classroom: lessons; relationships (student, parent, and staff); classroom management, and discipline.

· Always represent the mission and values of MLHA

· Create a fun and caring environment for children, families, and staff

· Report directly to the Director/Assigned Teacher

Required Skills/Attributes

· Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

At Mighty Little Hands Academy, our mission is to provide high-quality childcare and early education grounded in Christian faith and biblical principles. As a nonprofit religious organization, we are committed to fostering a Christ-centered environment where children are nurtured in accordance with our statement of faith.

In accordance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. § 2000e-1(a)) and Indiana Civil Rights Law (Indiana Code § 22-9-1), Mighty Little Hands Academy exercises its legal right to employ individuals who profess the Christian faith, demonstrate a commitment to biblical principles, and support our organizational mission.
